The Cat Empire - Other US releases - Two Shoes 'Advance Music' (2006)

In 2006, Velour Music Group produced this copy of "Advance Music" for the album Two Shoes. I know next to nothing about this item, but it's safe to say that it must have acted as a promotional item of sorts within the Velour company, and possibly with radio stations and reviewers. It has the exact same tracklist as the Indica album "Two Shoes - Special Edition", except it comes on one disc instead of two. The disc came in a rather crappy slimline case, one of those that (here in America) CD-Rs (recordable CDs) come in. The insert images are on nice, folded cardstock, the front displaying a 2005/2006 press photo of the group with the words The Cat Empire and Two Shoes Advance Music. The back has the tracklist and contact information. The rest of the insert is blank.

It should be noted that, while I am quite sure that this is an authentic copy of a Velour promotional CD, almost none of the songs on it download onto a computer (The exceptions being In My Pocket, The Wine Song, and the second Sly, which accidentally appears at the end). They do, however, play perfectly on any normal CD player. There's some malfunction here.
