Harry Angus' first solo album, consisting of twelve live tracks recorded at two gigs at the Spiegeltent in Melbourne, Australia - Friday 24th and Saturday 25th October, 2008 (although most were taken from the Saturday night gig, due to the Friday show being plagued with technical difficulties). The release never saw a mainstream release, with limited copies being produced and sold independently at Harry's shows throughout 2008 and 2009. It was recorded and mixed by Sam Lowe and Andy Hunt of Salt Studios. The album comes in a slimline case (one of the black ones with only a clear front part) with one double sided cardboard insert. Many copies were signed upon their sale, and as such, I have had to source a lower quality scan of the front cover image from a friend as I do not want my signed cover art to be available.
The track listing is as follows:
1. Daddy's Millions - 3:27 - H Angus
2. Introduction - 3:23 - H Angus
3. Matty and Josie - 5:27 - H Angus
4. Boring Life - 4:46 - H Angus
5. The Batsman - 3:45 - H Angus
6. Bring The Rain - 6:09 - H Angus
7. Breakup Song - 3:07 - H Angus
8. Yakini (The Last Gorilla) - 3:24 - The Conglomerate
9. The Banker - 3:14 - H Angus
10. Suburbia - 3:29 - H Angus
11. Underground - 5:34 - H Angus
12. Summer of '96 - 4:23 - H Angus
Note: track eight, Yakini, is featured on The Conglomerate's second album, Hold Your Breath, and is also written by the whole band (or so I believe - feel free to correct me on this).

ReplyDeletethanks
Tom,
ReplyDeleteThis might be a little too late for you, but I was just looking into getting a copy of The Conglomerate's Hold Your Breath from Bennetts Lane and Megg mentioned she had the Live at the Famous Speigeltent CD as well for $20. Just drop into the club to pick it up, or send them an email and organise to have it posted.
Cheers.
