The Cat Empire - Other Australian releases - Touring Europe and the UK, 2004 (2004)

Touring Europe and the UK, 2004, is a promotional release sold at gigs in the UK and throughout Europe on their 2004 European tour. It was released in a slimline jewel case, consisting of 7 tracks taken from their debut release, incorrectly labeled on the insert as:

1. How to Explain?
2. Days Like These
3. The Lost Song
4. The Rhythm
5. The Crowd
6. Hello
7. The Wine Song

The actual track listing is as follows:

1. How to Explain? - 3:38 - F Riebl
2. Days Like These - 4:07 - F Riebl, H Angus, O McGill
3. The Lost Song - 3:15 - F Riebl
4. Feline - 2:36 - F Riebl
5. The Chariot - 5:35 - F Riebl
6. Hello - 3:44 - F Riebl
7. The Rhythm - 3:24 - F Riebl, H Angus

Some of the songs (notably How to Explain?, Feline and The Chariot) differ from their release on the self titled album (with Feline not being included whatsoever) as they are earlier mixes of the songs. They can also be found on advance promotional releases of the self titled album, and on the European release of the album (under the Universal Music Group).

There are also notable errors on the insert. For example, it is stated that "the tracks on this EP were selected from an album released in Australia in 2004". The self titled debut album was released in 2003. Another error is the statement that they would record and release a new album in 2005 - Two Shoes did not appear in the UK until 2007 (under the Universal Music Group).

The EP itself is regarded as a rarity, due to limited copies being made and only being sold in the UK during 2004. Copies have gone for as much as $150 AUD on eBay.
