Cities is an album by 'The Cat Empire Project' - featuring all the members of The Cat Empire plus guests (listed below). The album was released April 1st 2006 under Virgin Records in Australia with a strictly limited release of only 10,000 CD copies each individually numbered as well as a limited iTunes release, which included bonus track 'Miss Soul'. Due to this, the album can no longer be found through major retailers (such as Sanity and JB Hi Fi) but can be easily purchased through The Cat Empire's online store. The album won an ARIA award under the category "Awards for Fine Arts, Best World Music Album".

The album is the first to feature mainstream releases of older songs such as 'The Conspiracy/Siente' (Live @ Adelphia), 'Song for the Day' (Adelphia/The Sun/Tapes, breaks) and 'Song for Elias' which remained previously unreleased but was played throughout 2004 at venues such as Bennett's Lane Jazz Club (May 17th, 2004).
