This afternoon, the band premiered the new single 'Brighter Than Gold' of their upcoming album on Triple J with the Doctor.

As of an hour ago, Ryan Monro updated his Facebook status with this photo from Sing Sing Studios, and the following caption:

Looks like we'll be seeing not only a new release from The Cat Empire, but the trio from The Genie as well!
